The most recent Steam sale ended a little over a month ago, and another one is already starting.
Like ever year, Steam will host various seasonal and themed sales in 2018, varying in length and variety. The next one is going to be the Lunar New Year Sale.
The Lunar New Year Sale will run from Thursday, February 15 to Monday, February 19. This information comes by way of Steam Database, a site that typically provides correct details about some of the behind-the-scenes goings on at Steam as far as database releases are concerned.
The site noted that thanks to Steam Direct, Valve’s replacement for Steam Greenlight, practically anyone can find out sale schedules ahead of time because of how simple it is to get a game on Steam.
The next @steam_games sale is Lunar New Year Sale and will run from February 15th to 19th.
Thanks to Steam Direct, it now takes less than 5 hours for that information to leak.

The scope of the sale has not yet been revealed, though given the short runtime, don’t expect it to be massive. You’re also not going to see any recently released games that had a launch discount.
Still, a sale is a sale, and hopefully we’ll have some interesting deals to look forward to. Steam sales typically kick off around 10am PT, 6pm GMT, but since Valve never officially announces sale schedules, we’ll have to go by the previous sale.
